There are any number of things that our campers
may find that they would like to have with them
while attending their favorite place in the world,
camp; pleasant days full of sunshine and cool evenings
spent in the company of friends come quickly to mind.
These certainly can make the camp experience
enjoyable. But there are other things that should
find their way into the suitcase or duffel bag to
ensure a GREAT experience at any one of our NC
United Methodist Camp & Retreat Ministries’ sites.
These should include an extra bathing suit, clothes
and shoes that can get dirty, plenty of sunscreen
and bug spray. You may also want to send your
camper off with a camera, money for the camp store,
and letter writing materials. Please mark your
all of your things with your camper’s name.
Your camper will NOT need cell phones, ipods
or other electronic devices. Simply put, don’t bring
anything that will detract from the camp experience.
Check with your individual camp staff several weeks
before the start of your camp session for any specialty
items needed. So, get your “stuff” packed!
We look forward to seeing you there! |
