Chestnut Ridge Summer Camp 2008

We are excited to introduce Chestnut Ridge Summer Camp 2008: Food, Faith, and Farming. Our theme builds on three summers of learning how to garden, compost, care for animals, and live more lightly on this earth we share with so many others. We are living out our commission in Genesis 2:15 to work the garden and take care of it.

Camperships Remember Myra Morris

Read more...Our Conference Camp & Retreat Centers have a long history of providing financial assistance (camperships) to families that are not otherwise able to send their children to summer camp. In 1972, the Myra Morris Campership Fund was established by persons in the Conference to provide financial assistance to families who could not afford to send their children to one of our Conference camps.

Third Thursdays Continues Second Year

Read more..."A Day Apart for Older Adults of the Burlington District" is continuing into a second year at Chestnut Ridge. It was begun out of a coordinated undertaking by The Burlington District, the North Carolina Conference Committee on Older Adults and NC United Methodist Camp & Retreat Ministries.
